- The Value Arbitrage

According to 'Peter Drucker' - one of the key objective of any business enterprise is innovation - whether it is innovation in products/services or the innovation in business operations to increase the throughput.

In the current economic age, business enterprises are driven by asset optimization and profit maximization and are finding ways and means to decrease the costs and increase productivity. Business enterprises have resorted to either automation or outsourcing of both critical and non-critical business/IT operations for increased productivity at lower cost. At the same time IT as a function is under increased scrutiny from CXO's in the new environment and every dollar spent on IT is expected to yield both tangible and intangible business benefits to the organization with an increasing emphasis on ROI.

Though outsourcing a business/IT operation helps companies derive much needed cost benefits, business enterprises have to look beyond the cost benefits to see how they can maximize value from their knowledge assets.

All of this throws up a greater set of challenges to CXO's and senior IT management to align IT vision/strategy with business vision/strategy and to manage their Business/IT portfolio and investments judiciously. This means effectively strategizing, planning, aligning, measuring, evaluating and improving the business value of IT for the whole organization.

nLeague's solutions/services along with it's unique BVP delivery model help organizations cross the chasm by moving the strategic intent of IT from cost arbitrage and productivity to sustainable value creation process.
